This review will be on the good only since the service and pricing was a unique situation.
The company I work for has a rotation of vendors that provide lunch. This was one of them. Since the service/setting is unique to our company I won't judge them on that.

The food choices provided to us while limited (due to space and transporting) the selection we did have covered enough.

I am on a Keto diet and was able to safely find something to keep me compliant .

I had the taco salad in a bowl (I did not eat it) I had a chicken bowl with no rice and added fajita peppers and onions. The overall appearance and quantity was nice no complaints. The meat needed a bit more flavor but I won't greatly complain.

Overall I would try them again in their own location. I'm certain it might be slightly better that way.

It's fast and good for a quick lunch. My rice was a little undercooked and the chicken lacked flavoring. It's fresh and fast so good for a quick bite when in a hurry.

Got lunch from here today.  Went with the Guardian Twin tacos i.e. two chicken or beef tacos, soft or crunchy, with lettuce, tomato, and cheese on them.  Served with a side of rice and a side of beans plus a small bag of chips and a very small container of salsa.

The good - super fast.  Priced very inexpensively for downtown Detroit i.e. $7.99 for all that.  Chips were crunchy and salsa was good (might have been Garden Fresh brand).

Tacos tasted very "American".  Chicken didn't have a lot of flavor.  Was very moist though.  So moist that I had a lot of fluid in the bottom of my to go box which made the flour tacos soggy.

Rice had a little kick to it and was al dente.  I would describe the color of the rice as orange.  Not my thing, but personal preference, others might like.

There is much better Mexican food than this around town, but if you need a quick, not too expensive lunch downtown, maybe go here.  Bonus - you can enjoy the Guardian ceiling/walls while you eat.

This place is decent if your craving Mexican and looking for a quick lunch. Menu is fairly priced, and food has been consistently good with the same amount given each time. I like how chips and salsa comes with your order if you get a meal too. Salsa is good as well.

Disappointing! I ordered one of each salad they offer. They didn't have half of the ingredients for the Mexican Town salad (egg and corn) and they completely left off the chicken. I had already paid by the time they told me they didn't have anything to put on it. There was barely any lettuce in the container. By the time I got back to my desk to eat it the lettuce had completely wilted and looked like mush. Neither salad was edible, waste of $20 for lunch.
